Rohden Vidros seeks to be ahead of the market with more efficient products, which have technological advances and are therefore sustainable, ensuring greater performance with our customers' solutions, reducing energy consumption by these equipments.

Rohden Vidros has partnerships with companies specializing in the collection, separation, cleaning, marketing and reuse of scrap glass caused by breakage and leftovers from the cutting of sheet metal, glass powder from the treatment of water used in the roughing and lapping process - reused for road signs – in addition to other waste produced, such as wood, abrasive, aluminum, plastic, interlayers and paper.

The Rohden Vidros treatment system is capable of reusing X% of the water that circulates in production processes, especially those for washing and cutting glass.

Having initiatives that reduce energy consumption is one of Rohden Vidros' cares when it comes to sustainability.

To contribute to this reduction, it is constantly invested in equipment with better performance - which ensure greater productivity with less energy consumption - and their preventive maintenance, ensuring correct operation.

Another important action is the optimization of production by adjusting the layout and processes aimed at reducing the time spent on employee travel, preparation and handling of the glass between one station and another.

Our factory still uses energy from the free market, which comes from clean and renewable sources, having a sustainable appeal when using sources such as hydroelectric, wind and biomass.
